FM Switchless Combiners

ERI manufactures FM switchless combiners in three (3) standard models which provide cabinet combining using two (2) 3 dB hybrids with a motorized phase shifter. These switchless combiner combine two FM transmitters into a single output with very low loss and high isolation. The motorized phase shifter allows for the switching between combined mode with both transmitter cabinets combined to air to a bypass mode which switches one cabinet to the reject/test load and the other to air without interrupting transmission.

CY200/CY201 2x18 kW FM Switchless Combiner

CY200-xFM for 230 VAC supply
CY201-xFM for 115 VAC supply

The Switchless Combiner is rated for 2 x 18 kW avg. at the inputs for 36 kW average power at the output port. The Coaxial Line Stack at the output is 3-1/8-inch, 50 ohm, EIA flanged and includes three (3) Directional Couplers and two (2) Voltage Probes. The inputs, output, and load port are 3-1/8-inch, 50 ohm EIA flanged connections.

The Switchless Combiner is rated up to 2 x 35 kW avg. at the inputs for 70 kW avg. at the output port. The output port is a 4-1/16-inch, 50-ohm EIA flanged connection. The RF inputs and load port are 3-1/8-inch, 50 EIA flanged. The system also includes three (3) Directional Couplers and two (2) Voltage Probes.

The Switchless Combiner is rated for 2 x 40 kW avg. at the inputs for 80 kW avg. at the output port. The output port will be a 6-1/8-inch, 50 ohm EIA flanged connection. The Coaxial Line Stack at the output and load port will also be 6-1/8-inch, 50 EIA flanged and will still contain three (3) Directional Couplers and two (2) Voltage Probes.
