Lightning Protection and Grounding Solutions
Lightning protection systems must include an efficient dissipator/ collector; a low impedance path to earth; and a low resistance interface with true earth. ERI recommends including the K-ROD enhanced grounding electrode at the tower or building base and the MAG-ROD anode at the guy wire anchors.The K-ROD provides up to 10 times the grounding ability of driven rods.The MAG-ROD provides improved grounding and cathodic protection from galvanic or electrolytic corrosion at the guy anchors.These products meet and exceed the specifications set forth in the 1996TIAIEIARS- 222-F Standard.
